Mayor Michael Bloomberg employs innovative contest style to bring bright, new ideas to meet city challenges - NY Daily News

New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg presents his city budget proposal for fiscal years 2009-2013, in New York's City Hall Friday Jan. 30, 2009. Mayor Michael Bloomberg says Wall Street firms are expected to lose a total of $47.2 billion for 2008, and even more in 2009. The figures are devastating for New York City.
